BETTER INGREDIENTS – BETTER PRODUCT
GrowingBasics® products are proudly blended, manufactured and packaged in our own facility. All products are carefully tested, our bottles are sterilized, and our products are free of gluten, soy, dairy, and nuts (except shea & coconut).
At GrowingBasics®, we occasionally make substitutions, additions and improvements to our formulas. We do our very best to keep this website up-to-date with a list of our most current ingredients. Please note that our products have a range of manufacturing dates. You should consult product labels to see the exact ingredients in a product, at the time of manufacturing.
We define “natural” as ingredients that come from a renewable source found in nature without petroleum chemicals.

We love to educate our customers on chemical ingredients to avoid, not just for applying on the body but also the ingredients in foods. So below is a link for further information on potentially dangerous and harmful chemical ingredients, see California's Proposition 65:
Proposition 65 requires California to publish a list of chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This list, which must be updated at least once a year, has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals...

All cosmetic ingredient standards as well as organic regulations, allow the use of some non-naturally derived ingredients. We may use a minute amount of non-plant or mineral derived material such as Baking Soda, but only when we have not found a readily available plant or mineral based alternative that gives us the same desired outcome. But we don't give up, we continue research and development to replace non-naturally derived synthetics with natural derived ingredients.
